This world and the people in it are worth loving — Lets get good at it

What would you do if you could fix the problems you see? What would you do if you could help those you love? What would you do if you were brave?

Accepting the responsibility to love people creates a life full of meaning

I love to walk with others and share what I have learned on this journey into maximum significance.

You are invited to join in this journey.

Humans live in community

When community structures fail people get hurt. What do you want to do about it?

The Invitation

Each of us has been given the power to transform lives. I love to learn to use that power for good and to help others find that power for themselves.

I want to live a life that is worth living, a life that is jammed full of meaning. I have discovered that meaning doesn’t come for free. It doesn’t necessarily cost any money but it does cost commitment. If you want a life that is fully worth living, Bob Dylan was right, “You’re gonna have to serve somebody.”

That is, you will need to make a commitment and take responsibility. It is not easy but it is a price I would be willing to pay over and over in order to see the results of transformed lives and hurt and broken people rescued from suffering.

We live together, we lean on each other, we depend on each other, we share common stories with each other. Our communities shape us. When our community structures are fractured they hurt us. But we can shape them back, we can change the structures to heal.

Over decades of working to be an agent of change, I have had a few successes, made a few mistakes, and learned a few things along the way. Some things philosophical, some things theological, some things psychological, some things legal, some things sociological, some deep, some some complicated, some common sense.

I welcome you to join me as I work to continue learning, succeed more, and fail smarter.
